E-readers are built for pages. Sometimes you want a stream: one word at a time, eyes locked on a fixed point, pace under your thumb.
FlowRead is a KOReader plugin for that mode. It uses RSVP with an ORP (optimal recognition point) anchor letter, intelligent pacing for long words and punctuation, and rendering tuned so e-ink isn’t fighting you. There’s also a scroll reading mode, library browser, chapter nav, and scrub preview when you need to jump around.
Inspired by rsvpnano; built to live inside KOReader’s tools menu.
Using it
Copy flowread.koplugin/ into KOReader’s plugins/ folder and restart. Open Tools → More tools → FlowRead, set your books folder, tap a title.
Supports .epub, .txt, .md, .fb2, .html / .htm / .xhtml. Gestures cover play/pause, WPM, scrub, chapters — swipe up/down to change speed, tap to pause, scrub when paused.
